📢 😁 Happy Wednesday! According to the National Sausage and Hot Dog Council, Americans are expected to eat 150 million hot dogs over the 4th of July holiday.
To help you understand just how many hot dogs that is: If one person ate one hot dog per meal (3 meals per day), 150 million hot dogs would feed that person every day for about 410,958 years.

Kuemper Catholic Elementary School awarded a $15,000 grant to provide salary assistance to hire an additional para-professional for the upcoming school year. This funding provided by the FIRE Foundation of Northwest Iowa is awarded to Catholic schools to offer more educational resources and fundraising and promote a culture of belonging with the inclusion of students with disabilities. Confused about Iowa’s new hemp law? Here’s what we know

Despensary — a shop selling consumable hemp and CBD products — opened a second location in Des Moines in the fall, citing high demand at its downtown location.
This article was updated on July 1 at 11 a.m. to note that the law is now in effect.
A new law that went into effect July 1 bars the sale of hemp-infused “consumables,” like gummies or drinks, to anyone under the age of 21. Unchanged in the law is that recreational marijuana is not — and has not been — legal in Iowa.
The new regulations restrict the potency of consumable hemp products that contain the psychoactive substance THC — tetrahydrocannabinol — to four milligrams per serving, or ten milligrams per container.
