Happy Friday June 28th, 2024! 🇺🇸 🌭 🐄

📢 😁 Happy Friday!  According to the National Sausage and Hot Dog Council, Americans are expected to eat 150 million hot dogs over the 4th of July holiday.
To help you understand just how many hot dogs that is: If one person ate one hot dog per meal (3 meals per day), 150 million hot dogs would feed that person every day for about 410,958 years.

Published June 27, 2024 at 12:24 PM CDT

Cheri And Steve Gacke say they are forced to "start over" after catastrophic
flooding hit their house in Rock Valley on June 22, 2024. This is the
second flood to impact their home, located a couple of blocks from the
Rock River.

President Joe Biden approved a Presidential Disaster Declaration for parts of northwest Iowa after catastrophic flooding. As the major flood threat moved downstream, one of the hardest hit communities focused on clean-up and finding what could be salvaged.

Mud and memories line the streets of a neighborhood in Rock Valley, a place that Cheri and Steve Gacke have called home for 30 years. They sit in chairs near the front door, exhausted and stunned.
